Carno


Carno is the first of the green villages from Machynlleth. Village life is centred around the thriving community centre, which was the scene of a public meeting explaining the green villages project. It is hoped that the heating system can be upgraded, and work is to start soon on replacing the windows for more efficient ones, and to improve on the lighting system.

 

The Mid Wales Community Energy Trust (MWCET), otherwise known as Windfall, is a not-for-profit company, limited by guarantee and is applying for charitable status with the Charities Commission.
